Customer Prices: Price Configuration

Customer Prices Section Overview

The "Customer prices" section is accessible by Seller Admins in Seller view. This will allow to set-up prices on the portal:

The first page will represent an overview of all price configurations that are defined in the platform. For easier navigation, use available "Search bars" and filtering options (1), (2), and (3).

In order to set-up or import new price(s), use the "Create new"/"Import" buttons (4):

The Customers check-box (1) allows to show all the customers who has at least one effective customer level price configuration.

The corresponding tooltip (5) informs the user of that when they hover mouse over the check-box:

To see price configuration for any customer or multiple customers, simply select those customers in the Customers drop-down list (6):

You can edit any of the price configurations by clicking on the corresponding Offer name (7).

 

Create New Customer Price Configuration

To create a new Portal Price configuration, either generic or specific, go to "Catalog" → "Customer Prices"   "Create New":

 

On the Create Price page, you will have the possibility to choose the Customers (1), Vendors/Offers (2), create the effective Price Periods When creating a new price the selected period is saved exactly as chosen. (3), and define the price settings (4) for the new price configuration:

  • Customers - setting up Markup for all the customers on the portal or for specific customers 
  • All offers - setting up Markup for all products in the Catalog. 
  • Specific vendor - setting up Markup for all products of a chosen Vendor.
  • Specific offers - setting up Markup for chosen Offer(s)

 

Setting up Prices for Specific Customers/All Customers

To create a price for a specific customer, select that customer name from the "Customers" drop-down field (1). To create a price for all the customers on the portal, leave the value "All" in that field (2) 

If prices specific to a customer are configured, and specified customer has no subscriptions or orders placed, it will be possible to configure price setting in effect starting From Today's date, and a message will appear indicating this option:

If prices specific to a customer are configured, and specified customer has one or more subscriptions or orders placedit will be possible to configure starting From Tomorrow's date, and a message will appear indicating this option:

Setting up Prices for Specific Offers/Vendors/All Offers

To create a price setting affecting all the products on the portal, choose "All" Offers (1):

To create a price setting on the portal affecting all the products of a Specific Vendor, choose "Specific vendor", and select the desired vendor (2):

To create a price setting on the portal affecting specific offer(s), choose "Specific offers" and select the desired offer/group of offers (3). You need to provide a friendly name to the group of offers in the Name field, which is a mandatory field:

  • Click Add to create an effective period for the new price setting (4)
  • An additional field will open where you can define the dates from-till. "From" and "Till" dates are fully included in the selected period. You can expect consistent behavior. The selected 'Till' date will  represent the entire day across both interfaces, resolving discrepancies between what is shown and saved. (5).
  • Select the Price Base (6), check the "Special price" box if necessary (7), define the Markup (8), and set the Soft and Hard limits (9)
  • Once the new price configuration is defined, click Save (10)
  • Click "Save" button in the bottom of the page to save all changes (11)

 

NOTE! In the article "Price Hierarchy" you can learn and understand, how Price hierarchy defines the prioritization of different prices set in the platform.

In case already existing prices are modified, updated prices will be visible only from the next day 0:00 UTC Time.
