Consumption-based subscriptions

Consumption-based subscriptions are invoiced after their billing cycle ends. All the consumption data is gathered, and the total price is calculated for each meter separately. Then, the sum of these total prices for each meter is included in the invoice with the charge type Usage fee. 

NOTE! The quantity for the Usage fee is always 1, this also means that UnitPrice = TotalPrice.

 

The contract billing cycle is equal to the subscription billing cycle.

The subscription started on 10.04.2018, and the invoice is generated on the 10th day of every month. There is no invoice for the subscription on 10.04.2018 since the first billing period has not ended; the first invoice comes on 10.05.2018 and it contains the Usage fee for the period 10.04.2018 – 10.05.2018.

There is no invoice for the subscription on 01.05.2018 since the first billing period has not ended; the first invoice comes on 01.06.2018 and it contains the Usage fee for the period 10.04.2018 – 10.05.2018.
