Distributor: Price configuration for synchronized subscriptions
Distributors can apply segment markup to all subscriptions that are synced into the platform during the initial onboarding of the seller. This happens when the new seller is approved.
When a seller is approved moving from status New to Approved, the Reseller category (Tenant category) correlations record is created with Effective From Date Utc and Effective Till Date Utc.
Subscriptions synchronized for the seller's customers have Reseller (Tenant) Category Markup observed on the Subscription Edit page in the "Subscription price for reseller" section.
Original Silver category markup:
Existing subscriptions are not affected if a new Reseller (Tenant) category markup is applied.
The new Reseller (tenant) category markup is not observed on the Subscription Edit page in the "Subscription price for reseller" section for existing subscriptions. New subscriptions from new purchases are affected by the newly assigned Reseller (tenant) category markup.
Newly assigned Gold category markup for new subscription:
The new Reseller (tenant) category markup is observed on the Subscription Edit page in the "Subscription price for reseller" section for new subscriptions.
Note! The newly assigned category only affects new subscriptions purchased. Does not affect pre-existing subscriptions.
