Cost overview

Introduction

This article guides Customers and Sellers through accessing and utilizing the Cost overview reporting section in the Platform. The reports enable tracking of Billing Data over time, with comprehensive filtering options for analyzing costs by various parameters including Vendors, Products, Offers, and Subscriptions.

Accessing the Cost overview reports

All Customers and Sellers have access to the reporting section, enabling tracking of Billing Data over time. Reports can be accessed from the "Reports" section when logged in on behalf of the Customer.

1. Log on customer's behalf

2. Go to Reports section

3. Select Cost overview report from the botton menu

Understanding the filtering options

The Cost overview report provides multiple filtering capabilities to analyze your data:|

Invoice Date filtering

• Invoice Date can be filtered by selecting a specific year
• When selecting a certain year in one visual, it automatically filters other visuals

Vendor filtering

• Vendor by name can be filtered
• By selecting a specific Vendor, you can view:
  • Cost per month
  • Cost by Subscription
  • Invoiced Subscription total cost
  • Active Subscription data for the selected Vendor

Product filtering

• Product by name can be filtered
• By selecting a specific Product, you can view:
  • Cost per month
  • Cost by Subscription
  • Invoiced Subscription total cost
  • Active Subscription data for the selected Product

Offer filtering

• Offer by name can be filtered
• By selecting a specific Offer, you can view:
  • Cost per month
  • Cost by Subscription
  • Invoiced Subscription total cost
  • Active Subscription data for the selected Offer

Subscription filtering

• Subscription by name can be filtered
• By selecting a specific Subscription, you can view:
  • Cost per month
  • Cost by Subscription
  • Invoiced Subscription total cost
  • Active Subscription data for the selected Subscription

Subscription Start Date modification

• Subscription Start Date can be modified by selecting the exact date from the date picker

Currency and data display settings

Currency options

• When selecting EUR, the currency will be displayed in euros under the revenue section
• When selecting USD, the currency will be displayed in US dollars
• When selecting Invoice Currency, the currency will be displayed in the Customer's currency

Information tooltip

When selecting the info icon, the system displays: "This report shows Monthly Billing based on Platform Invoice data. If Invoices are not processed through the Platform, then some deviations are possible. Please see the knowledge base article for more information."

Knowledge Base redirection

When clicking the bookmark icon, the system redirects you to the Knowledge Base articles from Report per Customer/Organization section.

Navigation and report management

Reset filters

• The reset button clears all applied filters and returns the report to its default state

Pagination

• Use the pagination controls to navigate between multiple pages of report data
