How to schedule Offer Publishing and Unpublishing? New UI
Introduction
This article explains how to use the Publishing Schedule section of the Review & Publish step to publish a Draft Offer immediately or on a future date, and to unpublish a Published Offer in the same way. Scheduling is useful when an Offer needs to go live at a specific commercial milestone (for example, the start of a new Billing Cycle, a campaign date, or the day an existing Offer is retired), or when an Offer should remain on the Platform only until a known cut-off date. The same controls are used for publishing and for unpublishing, and the same validation rules apply.

Accessing the Publishing Schedule section
The Publishing Schedule section is located at the bottom of the Review & Publish step (Step 5 of 5) of the Offer publishing wizard. To reach it:
- Open the Offer in the wizard. For a new Offer, complete the preceding steps and select Next: Review & Publish. For an existing Offer, select Edit Offer (pencil icon) in the Offers grid and navigate to the last step using the progress banner.
- Scroll to the Publishing Schedule section below the compliance summary.
The section is introduced by a calendar icon and the section title Publishing Schedule, followed by two scheduling options arranged in a two-column, card-based layout.
Publishing options
The section offers two scheduling options:
- Publish Immediately — the Offer goes live as soon as the publish button is selected. Selected by default.
- Schedule for Later — a future date and time is chosen for the publishing action. The Offer remains in Draft status until the scheduled moment, when it is automatically promoted to Published.
Only one option can be selected at a time. The card-based design makes the active option clearly distinguishable from the inactive one.
Prerequisites for enabling the options
The behaviour of the two options depends on the overall compliance state of the Offer:
When validation issues are still present
- Publish Immediately is selected by default but visually disabled (greyed out, reduced opacity) and non-interactive.
- Schedule for Later is also visually disabled, cannot be selected, and its date input uses the disabled styling.
When all subcategories are Compliant and the Billing Rules acknowledgment is ticked
- Both options become selectable and interactive.
- The disabled styling is removed; cursor and hover effects return to normal.
- Selecting Schedule for Later enables the date input field so a future date can be entered.
Scheduling immediate or future publishing
Publish immediately
- Confirm that the Publish Immediately card is selected. It is selected by default once all issues are resolved.
- Select the Publish Offer button at the bottom right of the page.
- The Offer moves to Published status and becomes visible in the Offers grid.
Schedule for a future date
- Select the Schedule for Later card. This activates the date input field underneath the card title.
- Use the date picker to choose a future date and time. The minimum allowed date is today; past dates are rejected.
- The Vendor's local time zone is displayed next to the date input so the moment of publishing is clear (for example, "Your local time — CEST (Europe/Warsaw)").
- Select the Schedule Offer Publishing button at the bottom right of the page.
- Confirm the scheduled date in the dialog. The Offer is saved with a scheduled status; the publishing action runs automatically on the chosen date.
Date input rules
The date input enforces the following rules:
- The minimum selectable date is today; past dates cannot be picked.
- The default value is today's date.
- A standard date picker interface is provided for selecting day, month, and year.
- When a date is selected, the value is validated; if the date is in the past (for example, after time zone conversion), the value is rejected and an error is shown.
Publish button behaviour
The publish button at the bottom of the page changes its label and behaviour based on the selected option and the current validation state:
- When Publish Immediately is selected and all checks pass, the button is labelled Publish Offer and publishes the Offer right away.
- When Schedule for Later is selected and all checks pass, the button is labelled Schedule Offer Publishing and stores the chosen date.
-
When validation issues remain or the Billing Rules acknowledgment is not ticked, the button is greyed out and labelled Resolve Issues to Publish; the cursor shows the not-allowed state and the button does not trigger any action.
Scheduling unpublishing of a Published Offer
A Published Offer can be unpublished with the same scheduling controls. To open the flow:
- Open the Offers grid for the relevant Product.
- Select Edit Offer (pencil icon) for the Offer.
- Navigate to the Review & Publish step using the progress banner. The step header changes to Offer Publishing Review.
The Publishing Schedule section now shows two options aligned with the publishing flow:
- Unpublish Immediately — the Offer moves to Unpublished status as soon as the action button is selected.
- Schedule for Later — a future date is chosen for the unpublishing action.
Steps to schedule unpublishing
- Select Unpublish Immediately for an instant action, or Schedule for Later for a future date.
- When Schedule for Later is selected, pick a future date in the date picker.
- Select the Unpublish Offer button at the bottom right of the page.
- The Offer is saved with the scheduled unpublishing date.
After scheduling: editing and managing the Offer
Once an Offer is scheduled — either for publishing or for unpublishing — the Platform applies additional safeguards until the scheduled date is reached:
- A confirmation message is shown after the scheduling action is saved, including the scheduled date and the action type (publish or unpublish).
- Critical fields of the Offer are locked from further editing until the scheduled date passes. The lock prevents inconsistent states between the saved schedule and the Offer configuration.
- The Offers grid reflects the scheduled status, so the Vendor can see at a glance which Offers have pending actions.
Limitations
- Scheduling is available only after every subcategory in the Review & Publish step is Compliant and the Billing Rules acknowledgment is ticked.
- The minimum selectable date is today; past dates are not allowed. The validation runs against the Vendor's local time zone.
- Once an Offer has a scheduled action, critical fields are locked from further editing until the scheduled date is reached.
- The same scheduling logic applies to publishing and unpublishing, including the validation gating and the acknowledgment requirement.
- Scheduling a publishing action does not add the Offer to any catalogue automatically. After the Offer reaches Published status, it still has to be added to the relevant catalogue to become visible to Customers.
Summary
The Publishing Schedule section of the Review & Publish step lets the Vendor choose between Publish Immediately and Schedule for Later, with the same pair of options reused as Unpublish Immediately and Schedule for Later for already-Published Offers. Both options remain disabled until every subcategory is Compliant and the Billing Rules acknowledgment is ticked. The date input enforces a minimum date of today, defaults to today, and displays the Vendor's local time zone. The publish button label reflects the chosen option — Publish Offer, Schedule Offer Publishing, Unpublish Offer, or Resolve Issues to Publish when blocked. After a scheduling action is confirmed, the Offer is saved with the scheduled status, critical fields are locked until the scheduled date, and a confirmation message with the scheduled details is shown.
