How to edit an Offer? New UI
Introduction
This article explains how to edit an existing Offer in Product Management Hub. Editing covers everything available from the Offers grid Actions column: updating Offer content, Pricing Plans, Billing Rules, the assigned Product, copying or deleting an Offer, and unpublishing a Published Offer.
Most editing is possible at any time, but a small set of fields is locked once an Offer is published. The locked fields are called out inline below and summarised in Limitations. For the full creation flow, see How to create a new Offer.
In this article:
- Accessing edit options
- Edit Offer (main flow)
- Edit Pricing Plan
- Edit Billing Rules
- Copy Offer

You land on the Offer Details step and can navigate to any step using the progress banner or the navigation buttons.
Most fields can be edited at any time. A specific group of fields is locked once the Offer is published; these are marked below with Locked after publish.

Pricing step
The Pricing step opens the Pricing Plans page for the Offer. Pricing Plans can be edited or created at any time, regardless of the Offer's status.
Billing Rules step
The Billing Rules step is partially locked once an Offer is published.
The following Billing Rules settings Locked after publish cannot be modified after publishing:
- Billing Date
- Proration Rules
- The selection between Set custom billing rules, Use vendor default billing rules, and Save as default (vendor program level)
A warning bar at the top of the Billing Rules step reminds users of this restriction.
For full details on configuring Billing Rules (including the sub-tabs that remain editable), see How to configure Billing rules in the Product Management Hub.
Provisioning step
The Provisioning step remains editable:
- Send order details to an email — change the email address.
- Custom sequences configuration — upload or replace the sequence file.
Changing the Provisioning method or sequences may affect new orders only — existing Subscriptions continue under the previous configuration unless re-provisioned.
Saving edits and re-publishing
At any point you can:
- Select Save as Draft to keep your edits without publishing.
- Continue to Review & Publish to validate the Offer and publish updates immediately or on a scheduled date.
Edit Pricing Plan
The Edit Pricing Plan action (price tag icon) opens the Pricing Plans page for the selected Offer, bypassing the rest of the wizard. Pricing Plans can be added, edited, or removed at any time, regardless of the Offer's status.
Edit Billing Rules
The Edit Billing Rules action (calculator icon) opens the Billing Rules step for the selected Offer directly. The same locking rules as the main edit flow apply: Billing Date and Proration are locked once published.
Copy Offer
The Copy Offer action (copy icon) duplicates the Offer.
A dialog appears that lets you choose which components to copy:
- Select all
- Offer Form — always selected; cannot be unselected.
- Pricing Plan — when selected, the latest Pricing Plan is included by default (even if dated for the future). The last five Pricing Plan dates are available for selection.
- Billing Rules
- Sequences
All four components are selected by default. Use Confirm (primary button) to create the copy.
Delete Offer
The Delete Offer action (trash icon) removes an Offer.
The behaviour depends on whether the Offer has any history:
- If the Offer has no historic Subscriptions and no orders in progress — a confirmation popup appears with the text: Are you sure to delete the offer: '[Offer Name]'. Confirming permanently deletes the Offer.
- In all other cases — the Offer cannot be deleted, only archived. A popup appears with the text: Are you sure to archive the offer: '[Offer Name]'. Confirming moves the Offer to the Archived status.
Unpublishing a Published Offer
To unpublish a Published Offer, use the main Edit Offer flow and navigate to step 5, Review & Publish. The step header changes to Offer Publishing Review and offers two options:
- Unpublish Immediately — the Offer moves to Unpublished status right away.
- Schedule for Later — pick a future date for the unpublishing action.
Selecting the corresponding option enables the Unpublish Offer button at the bottom right of the page.
After unpublishing, the Offer appears in Unpublished status on the Offers grid and is no longer available for new catalogue inclusion or new purchases. Existing Subscriptions remain unaffected.

The following fields and actions are restricted once an Offer is in Published, Unpublished, or Archived status:
Locked fields (cannot be edited)
- Product (assigned Product)
- Custom ID
- UNSPSC Classification
- Contract Type (contact Support to amend)
- Industries
- Billing Date
- Proration Rules
- The choice between Set custom billing rules, Use vendor default billing rules, and Save as default (vendor program level)
Action restrictions

- Change Product is restricted to SuperAdmin users.
- Changing Provisioning configuration affects new orders only; existing Subscriptions continue under their original configuration.
Summary
All editing options for an Offer are available from the Actions column of the Offers grid: Edit Offer, Edit Pricing Plan, Edit Billing Rules, Copy Offer, and Delete Offer. The main Edit Offer flow reuses the five-step wizard from creation; most fields remain editable, but Product, Custom ID, UNSPSC Classification, Contract Type, Industries, and Billing Date/Proration settings are locked once an Offer is published. Pricing Plans can be edited at any time, regardless of Offer status. Published Offers can be unpublished from the Review & Publish step, immediately or on a scheduled date. Offers with no transaction history can be deleted; those with history can only be archived.
