Microsoft CSP Requirement Changes: Significantly Higher Revenue Thresholds
One of the most debated updates is the substantial increase in the billed annual revenue requirement—$1M USD for direct bill partners and $30M USD for distributors per region. In addition, partners must now meet stricter compliance standards, including annual operational and security assessments, an active Solutions Partner designation, and an Advanced Support plan. These changes mark a clear shift toward favoring larger, operationally mature partners.
Ensure your organization meets the new requirements while AppXite platform demonstrates its platform’s full alignment with Microsoft’s operational and security standards.
Three-Year Terms for Microsoft 365 E3, E5, & Teams Enterprise
Starting June 1, 2025, Microsoft will offer three-year subscription terms for E3, E5 (with or without Teams), and Teams Enterprise in CSP. These plans are available on the AppXite platform with upfront, triennial, or annual billing, excluding End-of-Sale products.
Microsoft Subscription Upgrades with Destination Selection
Upgrade subscriptions by selecting an existing one as the destination, avoiding duplicates and aligning with Microsoft’s native capabilities. Eligible target subscriptions from Partner Center appear in a new dropdown during the upgrade process, keeping records clean and consolidated.
Payment Terms Management
Manage organization-specific payment terms more efficiently with the new Payment Terms tab, offering a sortable, filterable grid and editable fields under Settings -> Currency & Payments. Edited payment terms are reflected in the Invoices section, ensuring consistency and visibility across related financial records.
Stripe ACH Payments
Offer US customers greater flexibility with the Stripe ACH as an additional payment method, complementing the existing Stripe Credit Card option. This allows partners to offer customers a secure and convenient way to make payments directly from their bank accounts.
