Subscription Custom fields
Introduction
This article describes how Seller Admins can add Custom Fields to Subscriptions for syncing and displaying specific data. Custom Fields enable organizations to capture additional information during the Subscription purchasing process and display this data across various platform sections.

Create and edit Subscription Custom Fields
To create Subscription Custom Fields, navigate to Settings → Custom Fields → +Add new.
Custom Fields can be configured with the following options:
- Name: Add a descriptive name for the Custom Field
- Entity: Select Subscription from the available entity options

Type: Choose between:
- Text
- Number
- Checkbox
- Single select drop-down
- Multi-select drop-down
- Required: Choose whether the field is mandatory
- Modifiable: Choose whether the field can be modified after initial configuration
- Organization access: Choose which Organization the field will be available to
- Role access: Choose which roles will have access to the field
- Vendor access: Choose for which Vendor Subscriptions to make this Custom Field configurable
Configure Custom Field options
When creating Custom Fields, you can specify detailed configuration options:
Field types available:
- Text: For free-form text input
- Number: For numerical values only
- Checkbox: For yes/no or boolean selections
- Single select drop-down: For selecting one option from a predefined list
- Multi-select drop-down: For selecting multiple options from a predefined list
Access control options:
- Organization-level access: Restrict field visibility to specific Organizations
- Role-based access: Control which user roles can view and edit the fields
- Vendor-specific configuration: Limit Custom Fields to specific Vendor Subscriptions
View Custom Fields in different sections
During Subscription purchase
Subscription Custom Fields display in the "Additional details" section when purchasing a Subscription. Customers can input required information before completing their Order.
On Subscriptions page
Custom Fields data displays in the "Additional details" section on individual Subscription pages. This allows users to view the captured information after Subscription creation.
On Invoice pages
Subscription Custom Fields also display on Invoice pages, providing comprehensive visibility of Subscription details throughout the billing process.
The Custom Fields data appears in a dedicated section showing:
- Subscription name and details
- All configured Custom Field values
- Customer information related to the Subscription
