How to cancel Azure Plan subscription

Introduction

This article explains how to cancel an Azure Plan subscription in the Platform. Canceling an Azure Plan requires a two-step process: first canceling all individual Azure subscriptions under the Azure Plan, then canceling the Azure Plan subscription itself.

Step 1: Cancel all Azure subscriptions under current Azure Plan

Before the feature of separate invoices per Azure subscriptions is implemented on the platform, suspending all active Azure subscriptions under Azure Plan from the Platform UI is not yet available. It is recommended to suspend Azure subscriptions using one of the following methods:

• Microsoft Partner Center
• Customer's Azure Management Portal
• Partner's Azure Management Portal

Step 2: Cancel Azure Plan subscription

Once all the Azure subscriptions under the Azure Plan are canceled, you can cancel the Azure Plan subscription itself using one of the following options:

• Microsoft Partner Center
• Platform UI

Summary

Canceling an Azure Plan subscription is a two-step process. First, cancel all individual Azure subscriptions under the Azure Plan using Microsoft Partner Center, the Customer's Azure Management Portal, or the Partner's Azure Management Portal. Individual Azure subscriptions visible under the SUBSCRIPTIONS tab can also be canceled directly from the Platform UI. Once all Azure subscriptions are canceled, you can then cancel the Azure Plan subscription itself through either Microsoft Partner Center or the Platform UI.
