Understanding the Request Pending Message
When users attempt to log in using their Azure Active Directory credentials, they may encounter a "Request pending" screen with the following message:

This message appears when the domain administrator has configured their Azure portal settings to require manual approval for new application registrations. The application in question originates from our Auth0 authentication system and enables users to log in with their AAD accounts across various portals.
Solution Steps
To resolve the "Request pending" message, follow these steps:
- Submit a support ticket requesting domain approval for AAD authentication
- Provide the following information in your support request: • Your domain name • The specific error message encountered • Confirmation that this relates to AAD login authentication
- Wait for administrative approval - Support Team will need to approve the application creation in their Azure portal
- Attempt login again once you receive confirmation that approval has been granted
What Happens After Approval
Once your domain administrator approves the Auth0 authentication application:
- Users will be able to log in successfully using their AAD credentials
- The "Request pending" message will no longer appear for users in your domain
- Future login attempts will proceed directly to the authentication flow
- No additional approvals will be required for subsequent users from the same domain
