Saving the Changes

After making the necessary changes, click the "Save" button located at the top of the page to apply them.

A yellow notification box will appear, indicating that updates may take some time to reflect on the platform.

For improved usability, action buttons remain fixed and visible at the top of the page, even while scrolling.

Removing Category Tags

The tag editing interface displays all currently assigned categories for the selected product. Each category appears as a removable tag with an X button.

  1. Identify the category tag you want to remove (e.g., "NCE")
  2. Click the (X) button next to the category tag name
  3. Press "Save" to confirm the changes
NOTE! Removing a category tag will immediately affect the product's visibility in that specific catalog section. Ensure you want to proceed before saving changes.

Understanding Product Visibility

Product visibility in the catalog is directly controlled by category tag assignments:

  • Multiple Categories: Products assigned to multiple categories (such as both "Featured" and "NCE") will appear in all assigned catalog sections
  • Single Category: After removing one category tag, the product will only display in the remaining assigned categories
  • Complete Removal: If all category tags are removed from a product, it will no longer appear anywhere in the catalog

For example, if a product is initially placed in both "Featured" and "NCE" categories and you remove the "NCE" tag, the product will only be displayed in the "Featured" category section.

Summary

Removing products from catalog categories is accomplished through the category tag management system. The process involves accessing the appropriate catalog interface, locating the desired product, and removing specific category tags through the "Edit Tags" functionality. Product visibility is directly controlled by these category assignments, and removing all tags will completely hide the product from the catalog.

This workflow provides precise control over product placement and ensures that catalog organization meets business requirements while maintaining clear product categorization for end users.
