How to place an Order?

Introduction

This article guides end-customers through the complete order placement process, from selecting products to receiving order confirmation. It covers form completion, order summary review, terms and conditions acceptance, and post-order actions. The process includes order provisioning time notifications and options to add reference notes for account management purposes.

Complete Order Form and Review Summary

To finalize your purchase, select the "Buy Now" button on the product page.

Order Form Fields

After clicking Buy Now, you will be redirected to the order form. Please complete all required fields. The specific fields presented may vary depending on the Vendor's configuration for the Product.

Examples of commonly used fields include:

1. Quantity – Specify the number of licenses you wish to purchase.

2. Term Duration – Select the preferred duration for the licenses (e.g., monthly, annual).

3. Billing Cycle – Choose how frequently you would like to receive invoices from the Vendor.

4. Discount Code – If the Vendor supports discount codes and you have one available, enter it here. 

The system will automatically recalculate and display the updated pricing, including both the original and discounted amounts.

5. Additional Fields – These may include optional or custom fields specific to the Product, as defined by the Vendor.

Price Summary

Once the form is completed, a summary table will be displayed, showing the calculated totals.

NOTE! Some fields in the order form can affect the final pricing summary, so all required information must be completed before the final calculation is displayed.

The order summary will show:

  • Individual product quantities and pricing
  • Any applicable discounts or promotional offers
  • Total amount in your selected currency
  • Expected provisioning timeframes

Adding the Offer to Your Cart

After reviewing the summary, click the Add to Cart button.

A cart pop-up will appear, confirming that the Offer has been added and allowing you to proceed to checkout or continue shopping.

Accept Terms and Conditions

After completing the order form and reviewing the summary, select the "Place order" button to proceed.

The system will present the Terms and Conditions acceptance dialog. To complete your order:

  1. Read the Terms and Conditions by clicking the provided link
  2. Mark the checkbox to indicate your acceptance
  3. Press the "Agree" button to confirm

WARNING! You must accept the Terms and Conditions to complete your order. The order cannot be processed without this confirmation.

Receive Order Confirmation and Next Steps

Upon successful order placement, you will receive immediate confirmation both on-screen and via email notification. The confirmation will include expected order provisioning times specific to your purchased products.

Order Details and Reference Information

The system will display your Order Number and complete order summary for your records. You will also see a reminder with a shortcut to add a Note to this order. This feature allows you to include:

  • Reference numbers from your organization
  • Purchase order numbers
  • Any other essential context for account management

Available Actions

After order confirmation, you have two main options:

  • View Orders - Access your order history where you can track the status and completion progress of all submitted orders
    To view your Orders, go to Order section on the top of the Platform:

    You will see the list of all placed Orders with additional information, including the person that placed it, the order's date and status.

    In case of Order Status with Errors, you can display the error message by clicking the message for more details and copy it for further investigation, by clicking Copy icon,
  • Continue Shopping - Browse additional licenses, add them to your cart, and place new orders

The order tracking system allows you to monitor provisioning progress and receive updates as your order moves through different completion stages.

Summary

The order placement process involves completing the order form, reviewing the pricing summary, accepting Terms and Conditions, and receiving confirmation with tracking information. The system provides order provisioning time estimates and allows customers to add reference notes for better account management. After placement, customers can track order progress and continue shopping for additional products.
