How to suspend and re-activate an Organization?

Introduction

This article explains how to manage an Organization's status by suspending or re-activating it. Suspending an Organization temporarily disables access while keeping existing Subscriptions active, allowing you to pause operations without permanently deleting the Organization.

How to suspend an Organization

As a Distributor admin or Seller admin, you can suspend an Organization from its profile page. This action stops all Orders that are still in progress, cancels all Quotes pending acceptance, and keeps existing Subscriptions active.

To suspend an Organization:

 1. Navigate to the Organization section and select the desired profile.

2. Click the Suspend Organization button

3. A confirmation dialog appears with the following information:

You are about to suspend the Organization. This action will:

• Prevent any new purchases immediately
• Keep existing Subscriptions active (these must be managed separately)

You can review active Subscriptions and cancel them individually by clicking Manage Subscriptions.

4. Click Confirm to suspend the Organization, or Cancel to abort the action.

Contract behavior during suspension

Suspending an Organization does not affect the status of its Customer contracts. Contracts remain active unless modified manually by Platform Support. If access to contract content needs to be restricted, suspending the Organization is sufficient, but contract validity continues unless deactivation is explicitly requested.

How to re-activate an Organization?

You will find suspended Organizations in the Organization section with the status Suspended.

Click on Profile to view the Organization details.

The status bar shows: New - Active - Suspended.

Click the Re-activate button.

The Organization will become active again, and users will regain access to the Platform.

Limitations

Users cannot set a removed status or cancel Subscriptions during suspending through the API.
