In the Order note section, when a note is added to any Order, the Platform generates a notification to the configured recipients, allowing them to follow up on the information or action requested in the note.
Understanding Order note notifications
The Platform automatically triggers notifications when notes are added to Orders. This ensures that relevant stakeholders are informed about important updates, comments, or action items related to specific Orders.
The notification trigger is activated when a note is added to any Order in the system. This functionality helps maintain transparency and enables effective communication between different user roles within the Platform.
Notification recipients and configuration
The system sends notifications to specific recipients based on their roles and relationship to the Order:
Primary recipient:
- Customer Primary: The main point of contact for the Customer organization
Optional recipients:
- Cc (optional): Seller Primary - The main contact for the Seller organization
- Bcc (optional): Additional recipients as configured
The notification includes essential Order details to provide context:
- Customer information
- Order number identification
- Current Order status
- Order creation date and timestamp
- Order creator information
- Direct link to view the complete Order details
Platform notification settings
