How to create a Quote?

This article guides Seller Admins and Account Managers through the process of creating Quotes for Customers. It covers selecting the Organization, navigating the Product Catalog, configuring quote details, and sending quotes to recipients. The article emphasizes that quotes can be sent to invited users immediately without waiting for email acceptance, though users must accept their invitation before they can interact with the quote.

Select the Organization
Select the organization you prefer to send a quote to and log in on behalf of that Organization.
Navigate to the Product Catalog
Navigate to the offer from the Product Catalog you would like to send a quote and proceed to the check-out.
Configure quote details
Select Create Quote, and a new window will be opened with the following options:
Change the name
Change the name of the Quote if needed.
Choose recipients
Choose recipients who will receive this Quote. The chosen Organization must have at least one Customer or Customer Admin role in its user list.
The quote can be sent to the Customer as soon as their user is invited to the Platform - no need to wait for them to accept the invite via email.
If this dropdown is empty, there are either no users specifically for this Organization, or they don't have the Customer or Customer Admin role.
Select expiration period
Select how many days the Customer needs to accept this Quote.
Modify quote items
You can perform the following modifications to the quote items:
- Remove offers
- Change the quantity
- Change the Tenant
- Adjust Term Duration
- Modify Billing Cycle
- Adjust Markup
Add other offers
Add other offers to the current Quote.
Add comments
Add comments to the Quote to provide additional context or instructions.
Send the Quote to recipients
After configuring all quote details, you have the following options:
Delete Draft
A pop-up window appears upon clicking. Press Confirm to continue with deletion.
Save changes
This option becomes active once email addresses are selected in Recipient. Use this to save your progress without sending the quote.
Send to customer
This option sends the quote to the selected recipients. The received status appears on the quote once it is sent.
