How to view prorated Prices in the Price Table
Introduction
This article explains the prorated view in the Price Table, available to Distributors and Sellers when purchasing or reviewing a Subscription that falls in the middle of a Billing Cycle. The prorated view lets Partners see their own buy and sell prices for the first, incomplete Billing Period — not just the price shown to the Customer.
This article is intended for Distributors and Sellers. If you are looking for how prorated pricing works for the Customer, see the "Prorated pricing" article.

What is the Prorated Price Table view
When a Customer buys a Subscription mid-cycle, the Platform shows them a prorated Customer Price for the first, incomplete period (see the "First X days" line above the Price Table).
The Price Table — the breakdown showing what the Distributor and Seller pay and charge — shows the same kind of prorated numbers for each Partner tier, not only the regular, full-period price.
NOTE! The prorated Price Table view is only available when the Vendor and Product already support prorated pricing. See "Prorated pricing" for the full list of supported Vendors.
Where to find the toggle
The toggle is available on the Price Table on both the Offer's Buy page and the Subscription details page. Look for two buttons at the top right of the Price Table: Regular and Prorated.
- Regular is selected by default — this is the current behavior you already know, showing full-period prices.
- Prorated shows a small badge with the proration period, for example 66/365d, meaning 66 out of 365 days of the current Billing Period.
NOTE! The toggle only appears when prorated pricing applies to the Subscription you are viewing. If it does not apply, the Price Table shows only the Regular view, as before.
Understanding the Prorated view
Selecting Prorated updates the Price Table as follows:
- The Billing Cycle column changes from the regular cycle (for example, "Every 12 months") to the number of prorated days, for example "First 66 days".
- You buy for and You sell for show the prorated amounts for that period instead of the full-period amounts.
- Markup (%) and Margin (%) shown in the table stay the same in both views. These percentages reflect the Markup/discount configured above the Price Table, which is not affected by this toggle — only the resulting amounts (You buy for, You sell for, Retail Price) are scaled to match the prorated period.
- Retail Price is also scaled down proportionally, to match the number of prorated days.
- If your Organization has a Distributor row and a Seller row, both are shown with their own prorated numbers. If a tier does not have a prorated price available, that row is simply left out of the Prorated view.
- If a Promotion is applied to the Subscription, it is reflected in the Prorated view the same way it is in the Regular view.
Regular Price table
Prorated Price table
You can switch back to Regular at any time — this only changes what is displayed and does not affect the Subscription itself, the Order, or any other section of the page.
Example
A Customer purchases a Subscription with 66 days left of a 365-day Billing Period. The Grand total above the Price Table shows "First 66 days" at EUR 70.13, and "Every next 12 months" at EUR 387.84.
In the Regular view, the Price Table shows the full 12-month prices:
- Distributor row: You buy for EUR 356.76, You sell for EUR 406.71, Margin 12.28%
- Seller row: You buy for EUR 406.71, You sell for EUR 387.84, Margin -4.86%
Switching to Prorated shows the badge 66/365d, the Billing Cycle column changes to "First 66 days", and the amounts scale down to match those 66 days:
- Distributor row: You buy for EUR 64.51, You sell for EUR 73.54, Margin 12.28%
- Seller row: You buy for EUR 73.54, You sell for EUR 70.13, Margin -4.86%
Note that the Margin (%) and Markup (%) columns stay the same in both views — only the money amounts change, scaled to the 66-day period. Switching back to Regular restores the full-period numbers instantly, without reloading the page.
Important information
- The Prorated toggle is only available for Vendors and Products that already support prorated pricing. See "Prorated pricing" for details.
- If the Customer is set up with a preferred currency different from the Platform's default currency for this purchase, the toggle is currently hidden and only the Regular view is shown.
- The prorated Price Table view does not change what the Customer sees. The Customer-facing "First X days" price above the Price Table continues to work exactly as before.
Summary
The Price Table now includes a Regular / Prorated toggle, giving Distributors and Sellers visibility into their own buy and sell prices, Markup, Margin, and Retail Price for the first, incomplete Billing Period — not only for the full recurring period. The toggle appears only when prorated pricing applies and is currently unavailable when the Customer uses a preferred currency. Switching between Regular and Prorated does not affect the Customer's own prorated price, the Subscription, or the Order.
