Quick Insights

The Quick Insights tab offers a concise summary with a full set of filters, enabling quick verification of data for Month-on-Month revenue.

For customers, the Azure Usage Report will display data related to Cost instead of Revenue.

1. You can adjust the context of calculations by changing the "Group by" option at the bottom of the tab.

NOTE! The selection of options varies between Distributor, Reseller and Customer level.

2. The Revenue by Month Day diagram can be displayed by:

  • workdays only,
  • or with weekends included.

3. Month-on-Month Revenue Growth Displays data based on Level 1 "Group by" criteria, showing either growth or loss for the current or last month.

4. Use the arrows at the top right of the visual to drill down to the next group or expand the hierarchy to the next level.

Usage Overview

The Usage Overview tab provides detailed information about an organization's Azure usage based on applied filters and categories. This tab is not available to customers.

The diagrams display the Costs and Revenue for a given time period, detailing revenue by Reseller and Products & Meters.

1. Azure Usage Reports are based on the daily usage API from Microsoft and may not include all lines grouped under an Azure plan invoice line.

2.The quantity, cost, and price data are rounded for display purposes. However, the rounding does not impact the total calculations, which are performed before rounding for display.

3. The Total Price is rounded to two decimals, the Quantity is rounded to two decimals for visuals and four decimals for export, and Unit Prices are rounded to six decimals. This rounding may lead to minor differences when analyzing small individual usage line items.

NOTE! If discrepancies occur between the report and invoices, the total from the invoice is considered the authoritative source.

Usage Summary

The Usage Summary tab provides a detailed list of Revenue and Consumed Quantity based on the Product Name for the selected period. It also highlights key statistics based on Revenue.

For customers, the Azure Usage Report will display data related to Cost instead of Revenue.

Usage Breakdown

The Usage Breakdown tab allows you to analyze Azure usage by key dimensions in a graphical format.

To interact with the diagram:

1. Click the "+" button next to Revenue.

2. Select the necessary dimensions and add others for the selected lines.

Usage Export

The Usage Export tab enables users to export the Azure Usage Report data into an Excel format. To export the data:

1. Use the Filter Groups to ensure that the export includes all the necessary data.

2. Click the three dots in the top-right corner and select the Export Data option.

3. Choose which data you want to export and select the desired file format.

4. Click Export.
