Price effective dates based on customer status
If prices specific to a customer are configured, and the specified customer has no Subscriptions or Orders placed, you can configure price settings effective starting from today's date. A message will appear indicating this option.
If prices specific to a customer are configured, and the specified customer has one or more Subscriptions or Orders placed, you can configure settings starting from tomorrow's date. A message will appear indicating this option.
Setting up prices for specific products, vendors, or all products
All products
To create a price setting affecting all products on the portal, choose All in the Offer field.
Specific vendor
To create a price setting affecting all products of a specific Vendor, choose Specific vendor and select the desired vendor.
Specific products
To create a price setting affecting specific products, choose Specific offers and select the desired product or group of products. You need to provide a friendly name to the group of products in the Name field, which is a mandatory field.
Define price periods and settings
Click Add to create an effective period for the new price setting.
An additional field will open where you can define the dates from and till. From and Till dates are fully included in the selected period. You can expect consistent behavior. The selected Till date will represent the entire day across both interfaces, resolving discrepancies between what is shown and saved.
Save the selected dates.
Select the Price Source, check the Special price box if necessary, define the Markup, and set the Soft and Hard limits.
Once the new price configuration is defined, click Save.
In case already existing prices are modified, updated prices will be visible only from the next day, 0:00 UTC Time.
