Introduction

This article guides Seller Admins and Account Managers through creating, sending, and managing quotes for customers. You'll learn how to track quote status, set acceptance periods, and handle customer responses efficiently in one centralized location.

In this article:

The Quotes section enables Sellers to create, send, and manage quotes for customers quickly and easily. This functionality ensures deals are closed with optimal proposals within specified timeframes while allowing communication through comments to adjust proposals or order amounts.

NOTE! When a quote is sent, customers receive an email notification with a link to approve, refuse, or leave comments for suggestions.

Accessing the Quotes section

The Quotes section is accessible in the Seller View by Seller Admin and Account Managers.

Seller Admins and Account Managers can also view and manage Quotes in the Customer View for specific customers.

To access created quotes, select "Quotes" from either the Seller View or Customer View:

Understanding the Quotes overview

Once you open the Quotes section, you'll see an overview with the following elements:

  1. Show Inactive/Active toggle: Slide the button left or right to display inactive or active quotes
  2. Last activity: Date when the last changes were made to the quote
  3. Quote name: Name of the quote - either a customized name or the system-generated default
  4. Customer: The customer for whom the quote was created
  5. Amount: Total price of the quote
  6. Days to accept: Days remaining until the customer needs to accept the quote (options: 7, 14, or 28 days)
  7. Status: Current status of the quote

Managing quote status and tracking

After creating a proposal for a Customer, you can easily track and manage all quotes directly in the platform under the Quotes section. The centralized dashboard allows you to monitor quote progress, view customer responses, and take necessary actions based on quote status.
