Adobe Industries
It is possible to specify industry (segment) for Adobe resellers.
Reseller industries are managed by distributors using AppXite PartnerHub or APIs.
It is located in the Vendor contracts section in the PartnerHub and looks like this:
Subsection contains 3 checkboxes: Private Business, Education, Government.
Industry is a mandatory subsection to choose from.
Resellers that existed before the feature implementation have Industries selected in PartnerHub based on available contracts.
A few notes to mention:
- Customer can be eligible only for 1 industry on Adobe side
- Customer can select industry before the first order is placed
- Customer is eligible to purchase offers that are successfully accepted by Adobe on the stage of order preview and according to enabled industry
Sub-segment
Aside from industry/segment, there are also sub-segments that are valid only for EDU industry. Sub-segment is set by end customer in his Adobe Admin Console. Customer can select 1 or multiple sub-segments. It affects the list of available offers.
