Deep Dive

Deep Dive page is all-in-one resource where you can see data for all or some measures (eg. revenue, cost, orders, subscriptions) grouped by different entities. The advantage of the report is that you can see the data for all organizations you have access to, so in case you have multiple distributors or resellers trading in Appxite you can see all of their analytics from one URL.

It consists of the following sections:

  1. Time Periods
  2. Filters Section
  3. Currency Selection
  4. Invoice Status Selection
  5. Selected Measures
  6. Compare/Forecast Choice
  7. Diagram
  8. Selected Groups and Orders
  9. 'How to Use' Section

For description of each section, refer to the paragraphs below:

  2. Perspective Org - all organizations you have access to under Distributor or Seller Admin roles.
  3. Perspective Org Role - Perspective Org can have multiple roles which can be analyzed individually or filtered using Perspective Org Role groups.
  4. Child Org (buys from Persp. Org) - all organizations that you sell to. Either sellers or end customers.
  5. Child Org Country - country or multiple countries of organizations that you sell to.
  6. End Customer (Current) - end customer or multiple end customer organization(s).

Invoice Status Selection

Here you have a choice to see the figures coming from invoices in status either verified or new or both.

Selected Measures

The following measure are available to include in the report: Revenue, Cost, Gross Profit, Orders, Subscriptions and Seats. Revenue, Cost, Gross Profit data is taken from invoices; orders, subscriptions and seats from orders and subscriptions respectively. There are various ways in how the measure values can be displayed in the report.

  1. Measure name (e.g. Cost) = Value of the selected measure in the selected period.
  2. PP = Value of the measure from the previous period.
  3. PoP/Pop % = Period on Period / Period on Period %. Shows either Month-on-Month changes or Year-on-Year changes depending if years or months are currently filtered.
  4. MA = Moving Average e.g., MA12 = Moving Average, 12 months. Note - works best when there are no month-to-month interruptions in data.
NOTE! You can have selected multiple measures at once and based on your selection, the data in the diagrams and tabular form will get auto populated on the screen.
NOTE 2! By selecting any point of time or multiple points of time or any other singular or multiplied data in one place of the report, all diagrams and tables presented will get cross-filtered based on your selection. It is very convenient way to work with large data sets when needed to narrow down your results.

Compare/Forecast Choice

Switch between "Compare (multiple)" and "Forecast (single)" to show forecast.

NOTE! Only 1 measure can be shown at a time under Forecast.

Diagram

This diagram is not static and will change to show revenue, cost or whatever else is the first measure selected and also is based on the filters and time periods, such as vendor or particular offer(s). It is purpose is to show comparison across multiple years for the same month.

Selected Groups and Orders

Use "Select Groups & Order" to select which data to group the table by. Selecting multiple values creates hierarchy in the order of selection.

'How to Use' Section

        2. ARR Lost (to Churned) / Gained (from New) (YTD) - expected revenue lost or gained due to                        churned or new customers (since the start of the year) for the upcoming 12 months.

        3. ARR change (total) (YTD) - expected revenue change for the upcoming 12 months.

ARR and 12M RT Revenue - Actual & Projection

This diagram illustrates what was and is the projected revenue along with the actual revenue for the past months as follows:

  • ARR - Annual Recurring Revenue - expected revenue for the upcoming 12 months. Projection is based on today's prices, auto-renew status and revenue from previous month's usage based subscriptions.
  • Actual Revenue, RT12 - actual Rolling Total revenue over the previous 12 months.
  • Projected + Actual Revenue, RT12 - sum of projected and actual Rolling Total revenue over the previous 12 months.

Aggregated Annual Totals

The totals use the data from the diagram 'ARR and 12M RT Revenue - Actual & Projection' and present these in aggregated manners as actual revenue or projected revenue or the sum of both (depending on chosen date) and Growth totals and Growths difference when comparing one year to the previous one.

Revenue, Projected Revenue

This diagram shows the actual and projected revenue for the past / incoming months divided based on usage or license based subscriptions (divided further on monthly and yearly billing cycles).

Gross Profit, Projected Gross Profit

This diagram illustrates the actual and projected gross profit for both past and upcoming months, following the same logic used for Actual and Projected Revenue shown above.

Limitations

360° Report is based on aggregated totals and the data from Appxite platform is synced to the Reporting database overnight therefore there might be 24h latency in regard to getting most up-to-date information. Additionally, there might some delays in getting the particular sections of the reports refreshed since the amount of data to process is high. In case you encounter any further issues with data you are seeing or with navigating through out different sections of this report, please submit the ticket with Appxite Support Team for the assistance.
