In the Subscriptions section, errors during change operations trigger automatic notifications to keep users informed of failed operations.
Understanding error Notifications
The platform monitors all subscription change operations and automatically detects when errors occur. These errors can happen during various operations such as:
- Subscription status updates
- Plan modifications
- Billing changes
- Configuration adjustments
When an error is detected, the system immediately generates and sends a notification email to inform the responsible parties about the failed operation.
Key notification details:
- Notification trigger: Error during subscription change
- Timing: Immediate upon error detection
- Format: Email notification with error details
Notification recipients
The notification system uses a structured approach to ensure the right people are informed when subscription errors occur:
Primary Recipients
- To: User involved in the event (the person who initiated the subscription change)
Secondary Recipients (Optional)
- Cc: Reseller Primary (when applicable)
- Bcc: Additional stakeholders (configurable)
The notification email includes:
- Customer name and details
- Subscription information
- Specific error message
- Date and time of the failed operation
- Reseller information (when applicable)
Managing notification Settings
Users can customize notification recipients through the platform's settings interface:
- Navigate to the Settings page
- Locate the notification management section
- Configure recipients for subscription error notifications
- Save changes to apply new settings
This flexibility allows organizations to ensure the appropriate team members receive error notifications based on their operational structure.
Limitations
Currently, notification customization is limited to recipient management. The notification format and content cannot be modified through the user interface. Any advanced customization requests require support assistance.
Summary
The subscription error notification system provides automatic alerts when subscription changes fail, ensuring users are immediately informed of operational issues. The system sends notifications to the user who initiated the change and optionally includes reseller contacts. Notification recipients can be managed through the Settings page to align with organizational requirements and ensure proper error handling workflows.
