This article explains how the Proposal submitted notification works when Sellers save order drafts for Customer review. The notification automatically alerts the Customer's primary contact that a new commercial proposal is ready for their review in the Platform.

When a Seller prepares and saves an Order draft for a Customer's review, the Platform automatically generates and sends a notification. This ensures that Customers are promptly informed when new commercial proposals require their attention.

The notification is sent to the Customer's primary contact, allowing them to review the proposal details and take appropriate action within the portal.

The Proposal submitted notification is triggered when an Order draft is saved by the Seller for Customer review.

Recipients

The notification follows this recipient structure:

  • To: User involved in the event (primary contact of the Customer organization)
  • Cc: Optional additional recipients
  • Bcc: Optional blind copy recipients

Notification content

The notification includes the following information:

  • Customer organization name
  • Order reference number
  • Confirmation that a new commercial proposal is available
  • Direct access to review the proposal in the portal

Managing notification settings

Platform Users can customize notification recipients through the Settings page.  This allows organizations to ensure that the appropriate team members receive notifications based on their operational requirements.
