Quote acceptance notification overview
When a Customer accepts a quote, the Platform sends an automated notification to the Account Manager who created the quote. This notification provides essential information to help you track and manage the accepted quote effectively.
The notification includes the following details:
- Acceptance date and customer information
- Complete list of items in the quote with quantities
- Customer Price for each order item
- Total amounts per Billing Cycle
- Direct link to view full quote details including margins
- Direct link to the order for tracking or renaming
NOTE! Customers will see prices for each order item and totals per Billing Cycle in their notification.
Understanding notification recipients
The quote acceptance notification is sent to specific recipients based on their roles in Platform:
To: Seller Account Manager (the user who created the quote)
Cc: Seller Primary (optional)
Bcc: Additional recipients (optional)
You can customize notification recipients to match your organization's workflow requirements. This ensures that the right team members stay informed about quote acceptances.
Viewing quote details and margins
The notification email contains clickable links that allow you to access detailed information:
View full quote details: Click the quote reference link to review all items, quantities, pricing, and margin information.
Access the order: Click the order link to track fulfillment progress, update the order name, or perform additional order management tasks.
Managing notification settings
You can modify notification recipients and preferences through the Settings page in the Platform. This allows you to add or remove recipients, adjust optional Cc and Bcc fields, and ensure notifications reach the appropriate team members.
To edit notification recipients, navigate to the Settings page and update the notification preferences for quote acceptances.
