Introduction

This article explains the notification process when a Quote is rejected by a Seller account manager. It covers the notification trigger, recipients, and the information included in the rejection notification sent to Customers.

Notification trigger and recipients

When a Seller account manager rejects a Quote, the Platform automatically sends a notification to inform the Customer of the rejection.

Notification trigger

The notification is triggered when a Quote status changes to rejected.

Notification recipients

The notification is sent to the following recipients:

To: User involved in the event

Cc (optional): Reseller Primary

Bcc (optional): Additional recipients as configured

NOTE! Notification recipients can be edited on the Settings page.

Notification content and details

The rejection notification provides Customers with comprehensive information about the rejected Quote.

Information included in the notification

The notification displays the following details:

  • Quote name and rejection status
  • Organization that rejected the Quote
  • List of items included in the Quote with quantities
  • Customer Price for each Offer
  • Total amount per Billing Cycle
  • Comments section showing the rejection history and reasons
  • Link to Customer Support for additional assistance

The notification ensures transparency by showing all relevant pricing information and any comments provided during the rejection process.
