Introduction

This article guides Sellers and Customers on understanding the notification process when a quote is canceled. When a Seller's account manager cancels a quote in the Platform, the system automatically sends a notification to the Customer containing detailed pricing information for each item and billing cycle totals.

Notification trigger and recipients

The system sends an automated notification when a Seller's account manager cancels a quote in the Platform.

The notification is sent to the following recipients:

  • To: User involved in the event
  • Cc (optional): Customer Primary contact
  • Bcc (optional): Additional recipients as configured

Notification recipients can be customized on the Settings page of the Platform.

Notification content details

The cancellation notification includes comprehensive quote information to keep Customers informed about the canceled quote.

The notification displays the following information:

  • Quote name and cancellation confirmation message
  • Seller organization name
  • Complete list of items included in the quote
  • Quantity for each item
  • Pricing for each order item
  • Total amount per Billing Cycle
  • Comments history related to the quote
  • Customer Support contact information

Customers can review all pricing details and the reason for cancellation directly in the notification email.
