Introduction

This article guides Customers and Seller Admins in understanding the email notifications generated when quotes are sent or updated. It explains the notification content, recipients, and actions available to customers.

In this article:

Email notification for new or updated Quotes

When a new Quote or a Quote update is sent by an account manager, Platform generates an email notification to the Customer (or to the email specified in the Quote editing view) and informs the Seller that the Quote has been mailed.

In the notification, Customers will see Prices for each order item and totals per Billing Cycle.

NOTE! Customers have 7 days to accept the Quote. If changes are needed, they should reply to the notification email

The notification displays:

  • Product name and quantity
  • Amount per Billing Cycle (with proration details if applicable)
  • Total amount per Billing Cycle
  • Action buttons: "Request changes" and "Accept"

Accepting the Quote will place the Order directly through the notification email.

Notification recipients

Notification trigger: New Quote sent to the Customer

Recipient:

  • To: User involved in the event
  • Cc (optional): Customer Primary
  • Bcc (optional): Seller Primary

Notification recipients can be edited on the Settings page.

Customer actions on Quotes

Customers receiving a Quote notification have two primary options:

Accept the Quote: Click the "Accept" button to place the Order immediately.

Request changes: Click the "Request changes" button to reply to the email and communicate modifications needed before acceptance.

If additional help is needed, Customers can contact the support team through the link provided in the notification.
