Release Notes 231
Redesigned Price Configuration with Distributor Markup Control
The Price Configuration section replaces the previous markup fields on the Offer buy and Subscription edit pages, presenting the full pricing pipeline for each partner tier in one place. Each tier now shows its cost, price adjustment, and target price side by side, with a Simple and Detailed view that reveals FX conversions, unit breakdowns, and the split between catalog and subscription markups.
Distributors can now configure their markup directly on both pages, selecting whether it applies to Cost Price or Retail Price, and resetting to the catalog configuration at any time. Changes take effect from the next billing cycle rather than waiting for renewal. These improvements make it clear where every price in the chain originates, give distributors control over margins without routing changes through Partner Prices, and reduce the pricing queries that previously required support involvement.

Both changes are available in sandbox environments now
The new Price Configuration section will be deployed to production on 29 October 2026 as part of Release 231. It fully replaces the previous pricing interface, and we recommend reviewing it in sandbox ahead of the production release.
Distributor markup configuration will follow on 5 November 2026 with Release 232.
Extended Subscription Management with Channel-Wide Visibility and Saved Views
The Subscription Management experience now provides dedicated Seller View and Channel View options, allowing distributors to manage subscriptions across their sales channel with greater visibility. Channel View includes seller names, organization IDs, and countries, making it easier to identify and track subscriptions across different sellers. Users can also save customized views with applied filters and share them through URLs, enabling faster access to frequently used subscription data and easier collaboration across teams. These improvements simplify subscription portfolio management, reduce repetitive filtering, and help partners work more efficiently across large sales channels.
The Subscription data available in both Seller View and Channel View can also be accessed programmatically through the Search Subscriptions API endpoint. Partners can use this endpoint to retrieve, search, and filter Subscriptions across their sales channel, including Seller-specific fields, multi-field filtering, free-text search, and expiration/Renewal windows — enabling automated reporting, renewal monitoring, and integration with external systems.

Improved Billing Accuracy for Autotask Integration
The Autotask integration now supports Monthly billing periods only for services and contracts, ensuring recurring charges align with the platform’s monthly invoicing cycle. Non-monthly services and contracts are automatically excluded from selection, while existing mappings with incompatible billing periods are clearly identified during synchronization. This helps prevent billing discrepancies, reduces manual corrections, and ensures more accurate recurring charge management between AppXite and Autotask.

Redesigned Cancellation Policy Experience on the Subscription Page
The Cancellation Policy section on the Subscription page has been redesigned with an updated card layout that clearly displays the number of active cancellation policies, individual cancellation actions with deadlines, and vendor-provided details such as Vendor order ID and order type. Users can apply cancellation policies directly through outlined Edit and Cancel buttons, which are automatically disabled while an order is in progress to prevent duplicate submissions. These improvements make it easier to identify and act on vendor cancellation policies within the permitted timeframe, reduce user error, and provide better visibility into the details behind each cancellation option.
Partners can also use the Cancellations API to automate this workflow. The GET endpoint returns the list of reversible changes for a subscription with their deadlines, while the POST Cancel Subscription Order and Create Subscription Change Order endpoints let you execute full or partial cancellations without accessing the Platform UI.

Centralized Customer Platform Settings
The Settings section now includes a dedicated Customer Platform area that consolidates all customer-facing configuration into a single tabbed workspace. Administrators can manage Branding, Languages, Public access rules, Footer links, Dates, Content blocks, and Post-sign-in destination from one place, with an Overview tab that tracks completion status across all sections. Footer links support localized titles with role-based visibility across Distributor, Seller, and end-Customer audiences, and Content blocks allow localized messages on the sign-in page and product catalogue with optional HTML upload. Built-in previews for branding, footer links, and sign-in content let administrators verify changes before saving. These improvements reduce the number of screens needed to configure the customer experience and make it easier to maintain consistent branding and messaging across the distribution chain.

Growth Margin Visibility in the Price Table
The Price Table now provides a detailed breakdown of applied vendor pricing benefits, clearly distinguishing Microsoft Growth Margins from standard promotional discounts. During subscription purchases and edits, partners can view the individual margin percentages and their contribution to the final purchase price directly in the pricing tooltip. This improves pricing transparency, helps partners understand how multiple margin benefits affect their costs, and makes it easier to validate pricing and assess profitability before completing transactions.

New Growth Margin Eligibility Report in NCE Reports
The NCE Reports section now includes a GM Eligibilities report that shows whether a specific customer qualifies for Microsoft Growth Margin on each eligible product and term. For the selected Seller and Customer, the report lists available growth margins with their type, discount percentage, validity period, Is Eligible status and an eligibility note explaining the result. Results can be narrowed by product, offer, country, term duration and billing cycle, and the report is available to Distributors and 1-tier Sellers. It helps partners check growth margin opportunities before quoting or placing an order, reduces the risk of missing a qualifying margin, and supports better-informed deal structuring. The report is a best-available assessment, so eligibility should still be validated when the order is placed.

Bug Fix: Corrected Cost Visibility in Outgoing Billing Details
An issue preventing cost information from appearing correctly in Outgoing Billing Details was resolved. The issue was identified as low impact, as it affected only vendors with invoices calculated by the Platform billing engine. Invoices processed through other methods were not affected.
The billing engine now correctly displays reseller unit and total costs, improving visibility into underlying billing amounts. This helps partners validate invoice calculations, reconcile billing data more accurately, and assess profitability without relying on separate API checks.
Bug Fix: Corrected Logo Display in Email Notifications
An issue preventing the tenant logo from appearing in email notifications has been resolved. Notifications now correctly display the logo uploaded under Settings > Theme & UI > Branding instead of a placeholder. This helps partners keep their communication consistent with their brand, makes notifications easier to recognize, and gives their customers a more professional experience.
