Release Notes 108, 109, 110
What is new?
In this release, we are rolling out awesome upgrades in two key areas: catalog and purchases.
Improvements to catalog:
- Distributors and sellers can now hide individual offers under a product by clicking “Select offers” on the
product while customizing the catalog. For example, you can make a trial offer unavailable or hide offers with undesirable commitment terms from the vendor.
- Search will now display more accurate offer results by using additional criteria to determine whether the
customer is able to purchase them. We are aiming to roll out even more improvements to the search experience in the next updates
Improvements to purchasing and updating subscriptions:
- When you place your order, the page and the email notification will now inform you about the expected order provisioning times.
- After you place your order, you will see a reminder and a shortcut to add a Note to this order. This will
remind customers and account managers to add reference numbers and another essential context.
- When updating your subscription, you will no longer be able to toggle renewal and make other changes at the same time. Most vendors do not support it in the same order.
- New renewal status column and filter in the Subscription report will help you track renewal status and avoid forgetting to change it before the term ends. You can also see who changed the status and when on the History tab of the Subscription details page.
- Small layout tweaks made the subscription details page slightly more organized than before. The ways you interact with the page remained unaffected.
- *Upcoming* As many customers use subscription names to categorize and add context to their subscriptions, we also decided to make subscription name changes instant and no longer dependent on the vendor. We are planning to finish it in the upcoming releases.
We also made few improvements in other areas:
- Billing admin role is now split into two separate roles for improved clarity - Seller billing admin and Customer billing admin. They are the same but intended to work with the invoices of the seller/customer respectively.
- Distributors, sellers, and end-customer have a new Order Status report available to track all orders placed through them. Browse orders by date/type/status, track volumes, monitor recent new purchases or orders rejected by the vendor, track a specific order and follow-up with the person who placed it, and more!
